About David

After receiving an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, Bob earned a juris doctor degree cum laude in 1971 from Dickinson School of Law where he won an award for most deserving student, was an editor of the law review, won the school’s appellate moot court competition, and with his teammate placed second in the country in the national appellate moot court competition. Since graduating he has clerked for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and been in practice in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, first with a large firm, and then in his own practice since 1993.

Admitted to both the state and federal bars, Bob has practiced in all areas of the law: civil, criminal, family court, orphans’ court, and many appellate actions, all of which involved, among others, divorces, corporations, real estate, personal injury, wills, family planning, collections, taxes, contracts, and general litigation.

He has also been involved in community activities, and in the Bucks County Bar Association where he served on the board of directors
and was chairman of many committees.

Married since 1977 to Mimi Naragon, he has a son and daughter, and a grandson.

After 42 years of practice, Bob retired on June 1, 2013, but he remains available as an independent consultant for the firm of Woosley Naragon, which David Woosley founded with Bob’s gracious assistance upon Bob’s retirement.
